Description

As an Associate Product Manager (APM) you will be responsible for delivering key product features and enhancements under the direction of a senior product manager. You will work closely with the software development team to provide direction, guidance, and support to ensure that features are built to the specifications defined by Product Management on time and on quality. You will be responsible for collaborating with the Product team to ensure that user stories are scoped and scheduled to meet the needs of the business. Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting with release documentation, marketing collateral, and sales enablement tools to ensure that they are written thoroughly and accurately.

Core Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and other outside influencers to scope product and development initiatives
  • Partner with engineering as the voice of the customer during new feature development
  • Assist in the development of release documentation and training materials for new features/enhancements as they are released
  • Report on the progress of new features as in development
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of products, solutions, and company offerings
  • Assist in triaging and resolving second tier support inquiries as they’re escalated to Engineering
  • Perform quality assurance on new features & functionality
Requirements
  • Passionate about building functional and engaging user experiences
  • Cross-functional project management experience with an aptitude for developing a collaborative environment
  • Positive, people-oriented, energetic attitude
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to articulate technical information
  • Minimum of 1-3 year’s technical project management, business analyst, or product management experience
  • Hands-on experience with Agile software development practices; exposure to Scrum or Kanban
  • Knowledge of project management tools, like Jira or Trello a plus
  • Strong communications skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects with varying degrees of priority
  • BS in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field preferred
