The Technical Support, QA and Systems Administrator position is central to the technical operations of our systems, and provides the right candidate with a perfect opportunity to gain experience with a variety of technologies and business processes at the heart of Ampion’s CDG software platform business.

To be successful in this position, the Technical Support, QA and Systems Administrator should be tenacious and curious about how and why things work, logical and rational in troubleshooting, and creative and collaborative in developing solutions to business and technical problems.

Core Responsibilities
  • Working with QA team members to review system requirements and log and track quality assurance issues
  • Working with Product Management to assist in defining new features, or making changes to existing ones, to improve efficiency and user experience
  • Working with Engineers to provide feedback and QA on new features/enhancements
  • Working with senior Salesforce administrators to plan and execute administrative changes and workflows in Salesforce
  • Providing training to end-users
  • Maintaining and upgrading existing Salesforce software configurations Monitoring data integrity and cleaning / massaging Salesforce and other data
  • Monitoring data and systems for unusual patterns and taking appropriate action
  • Regularly attending team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and put forward solutions to any issues
Essential Attributes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent work experience in a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to multitask
  • Good communication skills
  • Proven experience in Salesforce.com administration
  • Experience with SQL and ETL processes using tools such as Postgres, MySQL, Informatica, Cloud Dataprep, DataFusion
  • Scripting experience with Google script is a plus
  • Experience with Jira, CircleCI, Cucumber, Python Robot framework, selenium is a plus
  • Experience with Google Cloud, BigQuery CloudSQL is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively troubleshoot and problem solve to completion with total commitment
Other Responsibilities
  • Comply with Ampion Written Information Security Policy (WISP), Ampion Employee Guidelines and all other Ampion Information Security Policies and Procedures
  • Take responsibility for any Ampion assets assigned to you
  • Promptly report any security events, incidents or weaknesses to Ampion Security as outlined in the WISP
  • Review all technical support and operational processes with security best practices in mind
