Maryland residents can save with Community Solar
United Way of Central Maryland is excited to bring a new program to its clients and the local community. Residents can now save on electricity through Community Solar with no costs.
Community solar allows you to benefit from a nearby solar farm without installing panels or paying anything to participate. As the solar farm produces electricity, you receive credits on your utility bill that help lower your energy costs.
United Way of Central Maryland has partnered with Ampion to make this program available to the community. Enrollment takes less than 5 minutes, and all you need to get started is a copy of your utility bill.
