Enterprise Sales Executive

The position of Enterprise Sales Executive will have a significant and immediate impact in helping large national accounts and institutions achieve their sustainability and energy savings objectives by bringing the benefits of community solar, VPPAs and Virtual Net Metering Credits to your assigned national accounts. Key corporate and national customer segments for Ampion include national chains, retail, Fortune 100 brands, and higher education, among others.
JCore Responsibilities:

Achieve sales goals determined by Ampion management team

Develop and implement comprehensive sales plan for each assigned customer segment to identify prospective national accounts, build relationships with sustainability leaders and other key relationships within those institutions, and convince eligible accounts to choose Ampion

Drive revenue growth by originating leads, closing deals, supporting existing clients, formulating sales strategies, and communicating Ampion’s product value to clients

Assess needs, present solutions, and negotiate contracts to C-suite prospects and ESG & Sustainability Corporate Champions; that include the full product and service offering of Ampion; including community solar, Ampion+, and AMpion ESG to qualifying commercial meters, and to “anchor” and qualifying large commercial meters.

Foster extensive relationships with existing and new customers within assigned segment including C-Level Executives, sustainability champions, ESG officers, decision makers, and key influencers

Establish clear KPIs and metrics to ensure success. You are capable of accurately forecasting on weekly, monthly and quarterly intervals and can manage your business to the achievement of sales targets.
Education, Skill & Experience:
-
Industry experience required; energy procurement and retail energy supply preferred; community solar, various services industries selling to corporations, education, the RE 100 group brands, etc., selling into sustainability and ESG programs and leaders.

Deep understanding of the sustainability, ESG, and renewable energy solutions sought by Corporate energy buyers, ESG & Sustainability Officers and other C-Suite officers

Can identify and articulate customer value proposition and links solutions to the customer strategy

Minimum of 2-4 years of business-to-business experience managing and selling to complex, large-sized companies with a proven, documented track record

Comfortable with pace and ambiguity of an early-stage startup; eager to lend a hand cross-functionally as required
Other Responsibilities:
- Comply with Ampion Written Information Security Policy (WISP), Ampion Employee Guidelines and all other Ampion Information Security Policies and Procedures
- Take responsibility for any Ampion assets assigned to you
- Promptly report any security events, incidents or weaknesses to Ampion Security as outlined in the WISP
