The Sheep Creek Community Solar Farm is a 3-megawatt (MWac) renewable energy solar farm situated on 20-acres in El Mirage, San Bernardino County. The solar energy generated by the Sheep Creek Community Solar Farm will serve approximately 890 homes.

How does it work?

Ampion connects people with local solar farms, making it easy to access clean, safe, renewable solar energy, with no installations, fees, or fuss.

Your solar energy credits show up on your SCE bill

When you subscribe to the Sheep Creek Community Solar Farm the energy generated on your behalf shows up on your bill as a Community Renewables credit, offsetting up to 100% of your generation charges.

Ampion will invoice you for the energy you used

Customers will receive monthly invoices from Ampion. The agreement, called a Customer Development Agreement, contains all the details. But the gist is that you get a bill credit from SCE based on the electricity rate, plus a Sheep Creek Time-of-Delivery Adjustment, and these add up to your total credit. Customers will still be billed by SCE for Community Renewables Charges.
