Bowdoin Sustainability is pleased to announce our partnership with Ampion. We are excited to partner with them due to our aligned mission for sustainability. Additionally, their CEO, Nate Owen, and Maine Membership Associate, Nico Valette, went to Bowdoin!

Further, with Ampion, there’s nothing to install and no entry or exit fees. Members can save up to 10% on their electricity bills for as long as they choose to have a share of the solar farm’s production (solar farms in Waterville and Lewiston). Additionally, Ampion will donate $100 to Brunswick High School's environmental club for each approved member who signs up!

Ampion matches you to a solar farm and assigns you a share of the Community Solar credits it generates based on your typical usage

The solar farm produces clean energy and delivers it to the grid, increasing the renewable energy available to your community and boosting sustainability

Community Solar credits are applied to your bill each month based on your share of the solar energy produced, reducing what you pay your utility
