CAPTAIN CHS clients can save up to 10% on their electricity costs by signing up for Community Solar with Ampion. There’s no cost to join and nothing to install. Community Solar is a state program that lets New York residents support clean energy from local solar farms and save on their electric bills.

The program is available to CAPTAIN CHS clients who are benefiting from SNAP, LIHEAP, Medicaid, TANF, the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), Lifeline, Supplemental Security Income and other assistance programs.
