Elgin Township is excited to offer residents the opportunity to subscribe to a local solar project with Ampion's Community Solar program. Income-qualifying residents can save up to 20% on their annual electricity costs by subscribing to the program. These savings are in addition to savings from LIHEAP and are applied directly to the electric bill. Non-income qualifying residents save up to 15%.
There is no cost to join— just savings for as long as you wish to participate!
