Community Solar and Savings for IBM Employees

Enter your email and zip code to get started

IBM is thrilled to announce its partnership with Ampion to allow employees to join IBM’s Solar Canopy project at IBM’s Watson facility.

The project will produce approximately 6 million kWh of energy annually and is scheduled to start producing energy in Q4 2024. A portion of the project’s energy is available to employees so you can subscribe to Community Solar through this New York State program.

Through Ampion Community Solar, employees who are Con Edison utility customers can receive up to a 10% discount on electricity costs while supporting this local project.

It takes just 10 minutes to sign up with your electric bill in hand. You can use your personal email or IBM email to sign up. Subscriptions are reserved for employees only, but space is limited.

With no installations and no costs to join, it’s a win-win all around!

2

Ampion assigns you a share of the Community Solar credits it generates based on your typical usage

4

Community Solar credits are applied to your bill each month based on your share of the solar energy produced, reducing what you pay your utility. You sit back and enjoy the savings every month!
